Slideshows (also known as carousels)
The so-call carousels if a form of navigation in which the content rotates vertically or horizontal in the form of a slideshow. By clicking on the usually up and down arrows, the user is able to rotate the course of navigation.

Upper-left areas on a web site are the most important as they grab all visitors´ attention. It is only logical to place the most important information there as the message will be delivered quickly.
Slogan and a brief description of what the company or individual is all about is coming to be placed on that spot.
These kinds of introductions can vary in length, but usually take up to 400 pixels in height. These kinds of blogs hardly ever appear in blogs or online shops.
