Google Adwords: Start anew!

5 Google Adwords Tips for 2010Google AdWords campaigns need to be revamped while the spirits are still high!  New Year is soon to come, you’ve got your priorities organized, your list of assets and drawbacks and you wait to start 2010 with more strength and an optimistic attitude.  This year, the world is yours, but you need to work hard to keep your marketing campaign in shape.

So much to do, so little time.  Customers throw themselves towards your products and services like lemmings, your crew is tired and hoping for this year to be over, you have your own concerns and you have to ask yourself:  what can I do to get my marketing campaign going?

Well, as a Holidays present, we want to offer you a few Google Adword tips you will find useful.  Copy them, print them and carry them with you as some kind of a New Year’s resolution or a lucky charm.

Ready?  Here we go.

1.  Check your AdWords campaign for redundant content.

Apparently, Google (mimicking the discerning consumer with its high-tech tools) does not like to be told the same thing over and over and over and over (heheh… sorry) and over again.  Check the copy of your AdWords campaign and make sure to stress different keywords and products to get higher rankings and, if you trust that your customers are not dumb, more clicks.

2. Don’t rely on content targeting or search networks.

Leave it to the pros.  Do you really know where you want your Google ads to appear?  Are you sure?  Well, the Internet is a vast and growing place.  If you’re a rookie, refrain yourself from toggling with these until you’ve conducted some experiments.  Otherwise it’s going to get messy.

3.  Pamper your landing page with relevant contents

Can you actually believe that there’s people out there that leave their websites completely unnurtured, starving for keywords, so despaired and abandoned they cause losses and huge PPC costs?  It’s that time of the year.  Have a heart and give these landing pages proper keywords and optimized contents for your AdWords campaign.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving (you cash).

4.  Stay away from bidding rumbles

You don’t want to waste time, money and patience on bidding for a certain spot.  Come on… you know you can do better.  When it comes to Google Adwords (yet it is never stressed enough), you have to succeed where other fail.

5.  Stick to your budget

This is key.  If you don’t manage a weekly AdWords budget and STICK TO IT, you will start paying less atention to the rankings of your ads and, in the long run, it will stop saving you money.  Discipline will take you places.

This is it.  with a renewed Google Adwords campaign and a clear focus, we hope you can start 2010 anew, with regained power and achieved goals.  Enjoy the Holidays, but keep in mind your business.
